Disappearing posts and threads means that they've been placed in a moderation queue waiting for a moderators approval, resulting in a thread with no "first post" or an invisible post.
There are a number of reasons for this, including (but not limited to):
    • large amount of images or quotes
    • vulgarity and other inappropriate words (see this list).
    • length of the post

If this ever happens to you or if you find a thread that has been put into the moderation queue:
    DO:
    • Report any post in the thread with the reason "requires approval" or similar and wait patiently using the -button
      • If there are no posts that you can report, you have to wait for a moderator to eventually approve it through MCP

    DO NOT:
    • Re-post the thread/post
      • This does not help the situation and could make the submission end up in the queue as well, creating more work for the moderators
    • Hassle moderators to get your post approved
      • Your post is not higher priority than anyone else's, wait for your turn.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS POST CONTENT SPECIFIC, YOUR ACCOUNT OR THREAD/POST IS NOT THE FAULT SO DO NOT TRY TO REPOST HOPING IT WILL WORK
