After getting some great feedback from the community I deleted my thread and have been working with two respected and friendly members in the community to re-write the entire library. Unbeknownst to me and without any reason, my thread was undeleted then immediately locked even though the deletion of the thread did not break any rules or guidelines set by the staff of this community. The thread was then unlocked, and after I asked if it could be deleted (because I did not want to overreach by deleting it again), it was instead locked again without reason. It seems that in my case this is happening solely based on principal and not because I have neglected to follow the rules placed on the website.

I hold this website to great esteem due to the fact that it's helped me develop as a programmer, but sometime I feel a lot of things get lost due to miscommunication. This dates back to over a year ago when one of the staff members on the website leaked information from a post that I reported.

Now I'm no stranger to criticism and I welcome it with open arms. How can we ever improve as software developers if our flaws are never pointed out? However all the code that is being referenced in the snippet is non-existent anymore, the entire snippet is by de-facto deprecated. So I do not understand the reason behind the selective bias and why my thread was chosen to be un-deleted and then locked by a member of the staff team.

You're not allowed to delete threads with more than a handful of replies; this has been the case for all threads throughout rune-server, this is more of a permission error on the administrative side allowing you to delete the thread rather than request deletion via report.

I don't know why it was reopened/closed/reopened again - when I undeleted the thread and fixed the permission error I closed the thread as I understood your intention for the discussion to be over and done with.
