Why do they have to be invisible to users? I personally would like to see what other members would do just to become moderators. The fact they are probably blatantly lying to you administrators for reasons to be staff. Members of this forum know the appliers better than anyone else, just a suggestion though.

Although I have been thinking of it a lot, with different effects attached to it, I think I support. But the chance would be that some guy will be negative (lying) that an application is so bad because he did this and that, just to raise the chance of your own application.

    I support, though.

I sorta agree, people will say so much bullshit that aren't true just to obtain staff.

They don't exactly gain much by starting off their moderator careers with lies. The admins obviously know who is lying etc but why make it invisible, these users applying should not be ashamed of applying as they believe they deserve moderator. The users of the forum should have a say!

Why? If they make it so, that only Administrators, Executive Moderators and Global Moderators can reply, why not? The Staff knows who to choose, not the members.

I agree with streetwave, I wouldn't exactly like to comment. I would rather prefer and visualize what the users are declaring about themselves and make a personal judgement. As a single person your opinion of someone may not be very good if you have encountered these people before, yet if many people said this person was lying then a petition could be made and that person should not be allowed to apply again.

The reason I made them private is because I don't wish for users to be "teased" or "harassed" by the assholes of the forum, because they applied for moderator. I understand user curiosity, even I was curious to see some of them but in the end I'm just looking out for the user.

I believe the 3 users who can view at the moment are highly capable of spotting bullshit .
Please do not contact me about RSPS related issues, if you require assistance related to Rune-Server you can send me a private message.

i recognize and agree with you in part, however, i think that it would beneficial for members to see the accepted, or near-accepted applications so that perhaps they can get a better feel for what Administration looks for in staff candidates. I would like to note that I mean only read-only abilities -- replying is not needed.

This will allow a member to compare themselves to one of these "under review" candidates and see what they can do better, which in the end, would improve user quality, i feel

If you are a starter and want to learn rsps coding, i think that the server that fits most of your requests is deathlypvpz.
I know some stone heads will flame and say its shit, i completely agree buy deathlypvpz is the best thing to start with.
And you must do some Java courses in codecademy to improve yourself.

I disagree. If members can view other applications, they would copy ideas or perhaps copy the application.
Shit just don't change to this day
