Timed silences

Most staff members forget to unsilence members so here's my idea.

/silence (duration in minutes) user

so it would be

/silence 60 Spartacus

silences me for an hour.

Would take modifications but so many people on this website would be willing to help it would be easy getting this working? This would also reduce the number of silence appeal threads which would be a huge weight lifted off the staff members, if you get my metaphor. Support?

Can't you just make a cron to clear selected tables in the database every 24hours.
