Usually on Rune-Server, the administrators would be trying to look for staff such as when they were looking for a Shoutbox moderator, it would be difficult to find someone that is active and abides by the rules.

Therefore, this suggestion basically means, when in a situation in which you've got a couple of members to choose from to become staff, it would be great to create a poll and allowing members to vote. Basically, majority rules.

This would greatly help in finding staff considering that the admins are not always aware if a person is active or abides by the rules. I'm not stating that this should be used every time, I'm just saying that if you cannot find one, this would be the best way possible

Sorry, but i don't agree with the idea. The members would obvioulsy vote for the people who've done them favours in the past,it would just be a popularity contest.
