Hi, upon attempting to do my daily reps, I noticed that the number of users required before being able to rep the same person had increased, apparently from 10 to 25.
This is a very strange update considering the fact that the site activity has fallen so much over the years; it’s hard enough to find 10 new posts by 10 different users as it is, let alone 25. Are we meant to just spread to random users at this point?
Additionally, as someone who has paid $50 USD for extreme donor in order to be able to neg, it’s weird to see unannounced changes to the system that many of us paid in order to be able to use.
I guarantee you that it's the same circle of dingbats in the spam section who cyclically rep each other all day that cause the radical changes to the system. If they can make posts in the spam section un-reppable or figure out a real re-work to rep, then they can revert it back to 10.
In terms of paying for the features, it's sort of a weak argument when you consider the rep system has changed dozens of times over the years (i.e it's impossible to suggest you donated thinking the features would never change), nobody ever said the features wouldn't change, and also it only expressly states that you "have the ability to give negative reputation" and no other parameters. That hasn't been taken away from you.
It’s been the same for years, why change it out of nowhere. Nobody was complaining

Anyone who finds 10 let alone 25 ppl not shitposting is worthy of a medal
But we wanna neg bitches, motherfucker
Nah but I agree where the OP is coming from in terms of doing it unannounced.
To be completely honest I am not fussed rep means absolute dog shit, maybe it did back in the days when scu11 was still scratching his bollocks at 13, but now theres no real meaning to it in my opinion so not too bothered
