I guess this means we can all but delete or at least retire the respected member rank at this point, as in no new members. How do you become a contributor but not be respected enough for the RM rank? The very [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] says "a rank dedicated to users who have made a noticeable contribution over their stay at Rune-Server" so surely if you've attained "Contributor" the rest falls into place.

This rank is actually a decent idea might even promote more posting activity

I think the problem is that existing ranks are fairly cliquey - and I expect this one will end up the same given time.

If I ran the forum I wouldn't bother with ranks at all personally (should judge people individually based on their own merits), but people like pixels...
