Hey lovely people of the Rune-Server community!
This is going to be my first thread on the forums, and I want to start with a good one.
I've recently gotten into modeling and I want to introduce myself as a modeler to this community.
The following model is a very detailed version of the all new RS3 Zaros Godsword.
I've tested it in-game and it works like a charm. I've also created models for the hilt, the black hole part and two blade parts, which all could be implemented into your server in a way so that it's hard and fun to obtain the full weapon.
If you're interested in purchasing this model, please leave a reply below and I will get in contact with you.
Here are some pictures of the Zaros Godsword. I hope you enjoy!
In-Game:
works absolutely brilliantly ingame!
ngl looks pretty dope dude gj
Good job, looks pretty nice.
looks good man try to get a better picture in game to see the detail more!
Thanks guys, and I'll do that for you
Very nice modell.
Not a release tho.
the model looks good, looks too detailed in meta4 tho. you do need to realize that the runescape engine renders everything in increments of 4, so putting high detail into something like this without textures is almost pointless, sorry to say, it bothers me too!
All in all, as I've stated before, the model looks good, my only issue on this one is the colours..... yes I see the purple in it... but... Zaros? In my opinion, Zaros' colours should be nothing more than Purple, Black, White, and blood red. (See ancient spellbook for my reasoning). The blue on this model is confusing me and throwing me off from the concept of Zaros.
I know this is your design, and that I absolutely suck at drawing in paint, but this is kind of what came to mind when I saw Zaros Godsword.
You do need to remember that Zaros was the major god of the desert region, so this would fit great if you followed it through history!
Hey Shawnguy! Thanks for your reply. The Zaros Godsword is a new weapon in RS3 though so I simply recreated it. This is how it's supposed to look..
Thanks for the advice though and since this is my first model post I have loads of time and room for improvement.
