Very cool! I always wanted to do something like this

So not only did I spend a lot of my break working on my rs3 project, I also decided it was an opportune moment to learn about something I am very interested in: electrical engineering. I spent the past month learning about frequencies, electric currents, bread boards, wiring, and so on. This is my first major project (aside from my mini projects for learning) which takes input from a sound frequency sensor and changes LED's based on the frequency. This electronic is currently basic, I have a few defined styles that I cycle through periodically (although accuracy is not great yet as I still need to learn about sound frequency and what sounds produce certain frequencies).*
Trying to get the colors in a tropical vibe since we are the pineapple house. Excited to use these for some lit parties at the place and live jam sessions. Exciting, anyways this is not complete and I have a lot to work on but stay tuned!
Anyways here are the featured modes in the video:
-Moving lines of light that change direction when detecting major frequency changes.
-Fading in and out with repeated beats (eg. records certain beats and throbs into another color when the beat changes and saves a color to a certain beat).
-Tropical color background with light flashes in random spots based on frequencies.
That is awesome, great song too
Never seen this before looks pretty cool i wonder what the lights would do if you played super loud songs lol
I did something kinda similar to that in high school with a breadboard and an LED cube that had multi-color LEDs, did some cool patterns and stuff - it was fun. I mean, it wasn't anything advanced like sound responsive LED lights but it was still pretty cool.
Nice job.
Very cool! Always wanted to try something like this one day
Love this nice work man
Reminds me I need to see if Razer completed their plugin for this!
