I unplugged the modem and now it dont work. It's through bell aliant and it's a r3000 fiber op modem.
The internet light will not light up. On wifi it says it's connected but there's no internet. On wired it dont work either.

Had the problem before and a technician came and fixed it in like 2 minutes.. so it must be an easy fix.. I don't want to have to wait until Monday to get it working.

Does it connect through a phoneline? Mine would need something like a microfilter for it to connect.

My system has a button on it to enable wifi etc, make sure you didn't press a button, when I unplug mine it resets the button board so I have to re enable it

Nope it doesn't work wired. Someone said my settings may have changed on the modem. But idk how to tell. I can connect to my modem in my laptop to see the settings and stuff.

there's a small insert on the back of the modem, use something such as a toothpick or paperclip and press on it for ~30 seconds.
it should reset and restart your modem, allowing your internet to work.

if there internet light is not lit you do not have access to the internet. your local area network will function normally but you will not be able to access the internet.

Check the line in to the modem. Is it plugged in? If it is a fibre cable make sure it is firmly pressed in. If it is a coax cable make sure it is tightened and check for any loose connectors if it's a joined cable. If it's an ethernet cable check the end and see if the copper cables are making contact with the pins.

If those are all fine then you may need to log into the management page of the modem and check what's up. Since it's an all in one unit the page should be accessible to you.

If it's plugged into a wall are you sure the wire isn't loose, or any of the wires for that matter.
