just wondering, would you rather have one NPC, & have the ability to search any item you want & buy it? or have multiple NPC's with different items sold in their shop.

having multiple shops is to spread it across the home to make the area look nicer but having one shop for all items makes it more beginner friendly

I've always been a fan of a mixture between a permanent market, in which rest many general shops with general use items, and other various shops located throughout the world, just as RuneScape had it. I love the idea of having to travel to get what you need, but that also means more work for the developers regarding completion of shops and dialogues.

Id choose the multiple shops imo only because it makes homes or areas look fuller than nothing moving around.
