    hey, i don't know a lot about computers but I have $500 and want to buy a pre built gaming pc. would love if you guys could link me to something. will rep + thanks.

    I would upgrade the graphics card as much as possible. The rest of the specs are pretty nice. They have options to be prebuilt for like an extra $50.
    You will need: your own screen, mouse, keyboard.

    Or you can upgrade the processor, I'd say a i5 or i7.

    I believe the op wanted a pre-built machine, but I wouldn't opt for an i3 in any case, regardless of the budget. So much money for such little power.

    would personally get this as the cpu is strong enough to game on (should get an overclock to 3.7ghz, you'll need a bios update tho) and has an 1150 socket so you can upgrade to an i5 4690k when you have the money, an SSD would be a welcome upgrade too but for $500 i dont think you can get a much more powerful build
