Because you can't use regular DDR3 memory with skylake motherboads, unless you buy 1 of the hybrid ones and use DDR3L.
You can't just put any memory in any motherboad.

Pleae read some info before posting.. Skylake supports DDR4 and DDR3L, it has a different voltage. 90% of the mainstream motherboards don't even support DDR3L. Please google it before replying to this.
Edit: Why wouldn't I call a board that supports the 1151 socket a Skylake motherboard? Even manufactors like Asus, Msi do it.. No need to try to be smartass.. I will call it 'a board that supports the 1151 socket' next time
Also note that the EVGA's Nex series build quality isn't the best, certainly not for the price.

I wouldn't go for the EVGA SuperNOVA NEX on a high end computer, it's based on an older generation mediocre FSP psu's iirc, I would go for EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold (Super Flower) or Cooler Master 650W 80+ Gold (V Series) (Seasonic)
