After developing a 'frankenstein' floor editor from a 317 client; I've set my sights on developing a 3D Object Editor completely from scratch. This means you will be able to load your individual landscape and floor files into the editor and edit them individually. I don't really have anything to showcase yet, but I will certainly add some pictures/videos when I make some decent progress. Below are the features that I wish to create:
- Support for (377, 474, 498, 508, 525, 602, 634, 667) landscape files.
- 3D widget to view the objects before you place them on the map.
- The ability to edit floor attributes (floor color, shape, shape mask, height, texture).
- The ability to share / post your maps to an P2P network.
As some of you may have figured out: these type of projects die very quickly. I've created a floor editor already but I did it by using an existent (Logics) 317 client and it suffered a ton of compatibility issues; mainly because of how tiles were loaded and saved. Runebeam warned me of this and I didn't really listen. I've pretty much got the floor editing down 100%; here are a few videos from my last project:
Thanks,
Wish me luck!

Will this tool be made available? I want to re-create Summoners Rift from LoL, and eventually mod the game enough to play it as a MOBA.
Goodluck Nucleon! - Kron

Nice, goodluck!
Wow this is awesome. Good Luck!
