This is a very verbose and clunky looking script language
not really, it isnt hard to enforce a coding standard even across a large amount of developers
enforce a style guide in some fashion, either make your IDE automatically format it or just fail to build the product if there are violations to your style code, see: checkstyle – Checkstyle 7.1.1I even find my own code loses consistency sometimes as a solo dev.

Setting up box traps
correct me if I'm wrong, but they're literally using a big ass if else statement in conjunction with percentages ($dropint bound = 100) for drops?
Edit: bound is not 100
Now my question is when does the else apply? because I know its impossible to get things like a torva platebody and pernix body on the same kill, though it is possible to get a draconic visage and random_cheap_item_X in the same drop
