Yeah and mac os is also more stable so you wont have to deal with loss of data as often as @ windows "Eclipse has stoppped worked"
If i could afford a mac i would get one im not saying they are bad machines but its not "bang for your buck" iphone 5s is a great example:
Build cost: 218$
Apple sells it for: 849$
I know money goes into marketing etc. But i doubt thats 600$+ per iphone lol
That is correct. I already have a Gaming PC in which I built however I was wanting a very slim sleek laptop with a lot of power do develop, browse the internet, do schoolwork on and whatnot.
I am starting to really dislike Windows and not to mention most Windows Laptops are like super thick and 'heavy'. I guess that only leaves me with Mac Book Pro.
Terrible advice, sorry however running windows on your mac Parrallel Desktop/Any other program/ truly screws up your computer, if you want to compile anything on for say Intelli J (Which is the best program to use other than eclipse) you must have the correct JDK for the windows platform etc. It truly slows down your computer whether you want it to or not.
What on earth are you on about. I said dual boot windows not run it in a VM. You can install the JDK in a vm too and why on earth would that slow anything down whatsoever. Furthermore, IntelliJ and Eclipse both have native Mac applications so you don't need Windows to use them.
Just bought a Mac Book Pro, I'll let you know! I've only heard good things and the bad are all false opinions because they're PC Fanboys. I see both os are good.
Mac Is great, you can still download WIndows 7 on mac. with bootcamp. It'l l work perfectly.
