    Hey guys,

I am searching for a programmer who is able to make an update server compatible with my 317 client and cache. It needs to be very efficient and fast because my cache is very large (230mb+) and contains huge 667 data. To give you an idea of how hard this may be, I will just say that I have spent over $750 on update servers, and none of them have been good enough. Don't contact me unless you are confident you can make a fast one.

To those interested: I would highly prefer a js5 cache system. I have been told by many reputable developers on this forum that this is the only way to make it fast.

If you don't want to make your own from scratch, I currently have a js5 update server 100% done, but I don't have my cache converted to js5 format nor is it implemented into my client. If you are able to make it compatible with my client/cache, I'll pay you for that.

Either way, pay will be good.

It's around there I believe. There's 474, 525, 667, data as well as 525 maps and objects and some osrs data. Either way it's huge. I'll check for exact when I get home.

What I mean is it shouldn't be lol. No need for it to be that big if you're handling the data right

I just checked and it's only 200mb. I misspoke because the person who provided my service said that in the end the cache would be about 500mb. Never double checked.

A 500mb cache for a 317 is way too big, unless you're like Soulsplit.

Edit: Didn't say OP's last post, sorry.

200 mb can still be reduced though, throw away junk.
