    Well not having to pay license fee's for windows saves allot of $ in the long run, so linux is actually a good way to start off not to mention an excellent hosting environment. So if anything, if the price difference does not effect a person renting a linux based server the performance difference will.

    By the way, RSPS on linux runs faster and takes less memory.

    Because they chose to have a much simpler way of handling their server instead of using a black screen and entering a fucking line of random code to run it?

    Open SHH terminal -> login -> cd server -> java Server

    Not exactly hard...

    You can still you centos gui... Great Tut, but you still need basic experience to do this Tut.

    You can install a visual workspace, but it uses alot of memory.
    Still you can fully manage your server without it.
