another way to get your server up

ok i dont know if this will help any one but i found another way to start hosting my server on the server list without my router (also please close this if it shouldnt be here),

Ok,qwick and simple all u do is unplug your cables to your router that is in the back of your computer and back into your modem and then turn off your computer and then restart and your modem then wait for it to do its thing,then once its done turn on your computer and then rune your server then check the box in your no ip program and then go to server list manage server then type in info and it should work!

like lol it might stuff up people's modern, because they don't know which one to pull off lol.

So you dont need to Pf.But if you have other wireless enabled pc's etc then it wnt be very useful.

umm........or u can just portfoward.

ya but some ppl like me wont let me port foward so ya

well, i'm no exspert with modems, and routers, but i manged to portforword the day i started up my first private server.

Is he just making all this up?

No It Works, But You Can Screw Up Your Modem, Like My Friend Did :d

uhh i find port forwarding way way easier and quicker too

Anyone know how to port forward with a windows vista?
