    i`ve made an tool that places objects on the map
    it doesnt save worldmap files currently but it does generate object
    spawn code
    its written in gambas for linux
    it uses maps in GIF,PNG,JPG,BMP,XPM formats with 4x4 tiles

    my use of it is creating the perfect moderator place(H)

    it is an map editor as im working on support of the worldmap file of cache
    and i will release an binary version but NOT the source

    So your gonna make a map editor? So new areas etc?
    I was trying to make one, but as Impusler told me
    Jagex doesn't store maps in the Cache, but it generates them.

    We have to ask Jagex for theirs

    i think jagex does store the worldmap in the cache, if not why would there be a worldmap.dat file in there?(c)

    I had one on visual basic i made, everything would work but when you went to make a new icon it would shut down my comp lol

    That they load from BitMaps too.
