These books will help ALLOT for people who are new to the concept of Java even those who are experienced.
I am posting these because for the fact that I helped out a Server "bountyscapepkz" had over 100 players online and did'nt even know the difference between variable types... (c)

I have Java for dummies sitting next to me haha.
Also, if you google "How to learn Java in 24 hours." A good online (free) book comes up that you can read. If you start off with that, then go into another book with more detail. A lot more of it will make sense.
i got the book java for dummies the first 50 pages are shit like how does a computer work a computer is made of cookies etc...
I'm using the learn java in 21 days thing and it's wonderful so far.
I got this book like four years back when I was still learning Java.
I actually read the entire thing like 3 times over.
It was very helpful to me when I was still learning to program with Java.
...and look where I am now.

i have the book "Beginning Programming with Java" For Dummies.
But everytime i read it i get bored and quit it... i might just read it every day 1 hour b4 i go to bed i guess ;d
