Updating the thread.
There have been some background changes that people won't notice but i'll post them here incase anyone is interested.
*Damage is done to pets instead of players
*Working on pet movement during battle but this is super early
*Created custom pathing for npc's for decorative features such as a cleaner keeping our arena spic & span etc. (Could be useful for quests/cutscenes in the future i suppose).

I find it so weird how you've managed to outdo all these crap custom servers which have been around for a long time that simply just import tacky pokemon models by instead focusing on the actual concept of pokemon, great job once again Neil, Will be following a lot more of your work.

I have never been a fan of custom servers personally, but i believe it can be pulled off if i stick to the golden ratio of custom/runescape.
I think custom content works if it's done right and doesn't take away too much from the original game in the first place. This pokemon idea is simply a minigame and has no use outside of the arena. That way, people that don't like it won't be bothered by it.
Many servers that claim to be custom tend to do what you said and add custom models or items and then give them insane weapon stats etc. That's lazy content.
Just my take anyway.
