Took 3 days to successfully brute force missing map data for 149 map 13898. now working to get our missing easter island.

Thanks to RedSixtySeven he found the way to do it.

i have sunglasses and dont give a fuck about the fact that the heat death of the universe will arise before a single 128bit xtea key can be bruteforced using current computing technology anything, what do i do now?

Enjoy the map, shame about all the wasted computing power we have here

Whole point being people like you and Graham said it was in better terms stupid to even attempt due to the amount of calculations it would take to gather correct XTeas. Yes with todays computing power it helps. so 3 days to get one map following patterns we developed to brute force more accurately I see as a accomplishment saying wow someone found a way to avoid spending 5 or more years attempting a brute force. so Fuck off douche bag while I actually finish a project unlike some people here.

If you actually bruteforced it in three days then either you managed to find the correct value in 3 days by pure luck (a near-infinitesimally small probability) or you have computing hardware light years beyond anything publicly available (pls share bro my pc sucks)... if you didn't actually bruteforce it but have instead found a different cryptanalysis technique that lets you recover the key in 3 days then the entire cryptographic community would be incredibly interested to know how (this also marks you as one of the best cryptographers in the world - congratulations!)

Either that or you just saved the key when that client build was live and/or found it on the internet, but you're pretending to have broken a currently flawless block cipher, created 20 years ago by cambridge university professors, because that sounds cooler

The method is simple Andrew - You use money to get you large amounts of computing power and you run multiple programs with different starts on keys and you throw the dice until you get an answer. This time it was very lucky to gather this key faster then we thought.

Right now the next map is get easter island 9003 which no one has just like fally map as no one can get to it unless you're a Jagex mod since the place has been disabled for a long while. so yes I got the key from the key dumper I had to get a key that is impossible to get....

Maybe we will get just as lucky and get a hit fast maybe we wont. but your bullshit antics wont stop me from having fun attempting to get it.
