Thread: My Area Tool

UPDATE:

New area system: (not hard to do, but reguired some thinking to get it working without bugs)

So now I can just make 2 areas instead of 5.

and theres now a priority setting under area type on editor, but cba to take pic of that..

OLD:

Heres a new map related tool I made: (Not 100% accurate, since I had to combine ~110 smaller pics by hand, but close enough for it to be used)

^It's a 100% zoomed in map (4x4pixels = 1 in-game square)

Note: Obviously there arent dungeons or anything... this is just the worldmap.

Current usages:
-Grab position
-Make areas (music, multiway-Combat, wild)

Currently done: (These are close to real RS areas)
- 204 Surface music areas (Surface kinda done, so I just started doing other areas...)
- 93 Other music areas (which cant be done with this tool - note: these are a lot slower to make since have to get the coords in-game etc.)
^I think I wont be making more of these anymore.... (was getting kinda difficult, since a lot of places I needed to find didnt have released coords anywhere, but luckily I managed to find a few myself)

TOTAL OF 297 MUSIC AREAS.
^The count on this thread isnt updated anymore...

Just been testing these in-game and the result is just awesome! (I load my area file itself, so I dont need to add code for areas)
