TEST OUT IRONMAN MODE: https://discord.gg/Vhh4ySRGnp
i am trying to add an ironman mode restriction, because groups of players can easily gather resources and all give the materials to a single account that will rapidly progress in-game, this devalues many accomplishments in-game that would take a solo-player on a single account many hours, for example, creating a magic shortbow
therefore, global ironman mode restriction may help preserve the playing experience in an online multiplayer environment
some of the code changes that i have began to look into are:
items converted to untradeable
hide player stock in npc shops (* items sold by player#1 will not appear in the general store or be purchasable by player#2
provide players admin rights on death, preventing the appearance of items on the ground
protect item prayer, and 3 most valueable items kept on death
same as its done in every 317 source, give them an option at start and set that players mode to the option they chose
i dont know how to do that in 2006Scape,
currently was going to try giving playersrights== 0 some of the ADMIN_CAN_, restrictions like trade, sell, alch, etc.
UPDATE: yes i went to the settings to prevent admins from transferring items, then changed that playersrights to 0 (normal player)
this means admins can distribute items, but it fixes various ways that normal players could attempt to transfer items.
