We'd be able to help better if you give us the console output when you try to run it. Open the command prompt/powershell/terminal in your RSPSi directory (on Windows, it should be in the context menu if you control+shift+right-click in the folder in Explorer), and type in
    Code:
    java -jar [filename].jar
It could be that you have some barebones version of java that doesn't include JavaFX, which is an additional dependency for the UI.

I actually paid a guy on fiverr for this. Here's my fork:
    https://github.com/tobywisener/RSPSi

Read the RSPSIGuide.docx in there - there are some specific requirements since its a really old project using Gradle etc.

Bit fishy. Nothing wrong with the official release, you just got to stop being a noob.

For technicalities. RSPSi relies on JavaFX which is no longer included in Java. So either you point the application to the needed dependencies, or you run it with an older Java version.

Easy tiger I just spent a day on it myself and didn't have time to keep wrestling with it so went to fiverr to speed things up. Its a pretty old project and even the java expert in question had some trouble getting it going.
Also the original repo is inactive/unsupported hence why I forked, in the hope it might help someone
