I feel like Optimum got unfairly abused but i just want to say my piece in support of Optimum :P
Throughout my time being the most popular Pk server from the latter half of 2017 and throughout 2018, I was dedicating 2 hours a day to all the Admin work and marketing. That 2 hours took care of everything the players wanted. I was the only Admin/Owner.
I'd then spend the other 6-10 hours in development. The sheer amount of player suggestions, contents, and bugs were like a never-ending ocean. Unfortunately, I ended up being burned out and took massive breaks and dedicated less time by the end of 2018 onwards.
All servers on a budget have to do partnerships to get to launch, which is the state of nearly all servers being released. I understand that some developers cannot even think about putting in 400 hours of work unpaid and risk it all on launch. But if you're unemployed and Rsps is your specialty in terms of income, it then becomes comprehensible.
What Stable is asking for is very normal and he's a trustworthy guy from his YouTubing history, I would totally vouch for him to keep his agreements.
This could have been said differently, I'm sure you have all the right intentions with your project and this thread, but this really isn't helping your case. To the average ear it might sound like you are severely undervaluing your future partner.Quote:

You should really be more specific about what you have to offer in this partnership. Take this from a somewhat experienced person (even tho I haven't run anything for the better half of a decade), right now you're not offering anything a team/person couldn't get from an investor, and an investor is (usually) not a long-term partner, but a person who has an interest in investing money and making their investment back and than some.
If you're looking to create a server and have a developer working pro bono and also expect that you will permenantly take a percentage of the revenue, you need to be much better at selling yourself and be really specific about what exactly you are offering to the table of this partnership. :)
Thank you for the input, but at the same time it says all the details will be discussed on discord. My intentions are purely good and i'm far away from undervalueing my developer/partnerQuote:

Not what I was pointing to. Zenyte is virtually the only top server(if you can call it top at this point though) which hasn't had its payment processor seized. I won't reveal the specifics of it but I do believe(and so do some other server owners) there's a correlation between these things.Quote:

To those claiming we had years of public development and semi-advertising through that, you'd be right and wrong. It may have been publicity but we took far too long to get it out and lost lots of people in the process.
i swear this guy just hosted a custom server made a few k shut it down now wants a guy to work for free till it launches
1- The server name is Azerite.Quote:

2- It's not shut down, and it's going to have one of the biggest updates in the scene.
3- I worked hard on it and spend a lot of time, but had issues with the upper management so it was better for me to not work with them as the "team" chemistry was not right.
4- Read and understand before you get to talking.
Curious to know your vision for the server.
1 of the biggest updates in the scene good luck lol adding new custom items is well such a good update :lelkQuote:
