It's a cool concept but wouldn't it be easier to just setup a project on github, make it open source and just task those who want to learn.
similar to how RSMod is, where there are multiple contributors.
by doing this people who are new to java won't learn from just you, but learn from everyone who is contributing to the project (e.g. other people who are new to java).
sounds cool and almost as righteous as the other comments but this is what I want to do and will do. as you said, they got RSMod but whos willing to sit down with them and teach them interpersonally.
I would appreciate if you guys stop posting optimal ways of doing this as i already decided how i want to do it. im not saying what you suggested isnt better, i am saying im not interested in that method.
thanks
I don't know why this is getting so much hate, honestly rooting for you Dexter in this. Honestly I look at it like an apprenticeship. People often go and work for free just to earn knowledge (even though they're not working for you) and your thread obviously states "help them setup and be able to program their own server" which also means the people he will be teaching probably doesn't know more than simple things of RSPS or maybe nothing at all. So I don't know where the hate is coming from. In my eyes you're also willing to use your time and not get paid, I would understand the hate if you were charging but you stated that you weren't.
So anyone who takes his offer and does this I am sure will appreciate the knowledge, and experience.
Exactly what brett said.
I Would love to do this, the only thing misleading about this thread to me is why is it free? I would pay for this kind of a thing since I know you're knowledgeable.
Gutted i missed out on this
