hi im looking for a source and client which is good to learn and also have fun with a few friends on, can anyone suggest one?
A lot of people recommend Elvarg (be sure to use the eco version if you go this route) due to it's "clean" nature.
The fact of the matter is that there is two issues with this;
- Elvarg is a 317 loading OSRS Data. People are straying away from this format and it tends to be more of a headache in the long run.
A lot of people are moving over to Kotlin (I have not yet, but if I was just getting started - I would). It's more robust and easier to use in the long-run, or so I'm told.
Stay away from flashy content and features in the downloads section. They are all poorly done and you will just develop horrible habbits in the long run.
Take a Java intro course on SkillShare or Udemy. Learn your basics of data types, loops and fundamentals of OOP. Then dive in and start playing around with RSMod.
RSMod is an open source Deob that has a great community where experienced devs are contributing daily. They have a discord that seems to be extremely helpful.
Hehe, or go the heavy route and use Apollo.
