Hi, I have a unique idea for an rsps and everyone that I've talked to gauge interest in the concept are really taken aback by the idea and really wish that it existed so that they could play it. I have been sitting on this idea for about a year now just waiting to meet someone with the experience to help bring it to fruition. I've brainstormed many possible directions in which to take this server in which it can generate as much revenue as possible while remaining a very fun experience for all those take part in it.
The uniqueness of this server will allow for traditional means for revenue generation on top of a whole new method that is being unlocked due to the gameplay that will be specific to this server alone. The development side of things should not be too difficult as the assets necessary for its creation are already in existence and only require for them to be combined in a way that has never been done before.
I am quite certain that the breath of fresh air that this server will provide will bring players to this game that may have never even touched a private server before simply because this will be an experience that many would look forward to playing due to the creative adventure that lies in store. If you have any development experience and would like to take a small risk on this project in exchange for a huge potential payoff, please message me. I really look forward to putting a team together and making a game that no one else has before with you.
Thank you.

Battle royal type thangs already been attempted :^)

I would wager to say that you'll be hard pressed to find someone willing to take the risk of no upfront compensation to create a 'unique' server, especially when you include no information regarding what the goal of the server would be. I find hesitation in not knowing what will be asked of me because, knowing this community, you might ask me for rainbow dildos. I wish you the best of luck in your search.
Literally everything you said is wrong
If the worst case for not having my idea stolen and developed by someone else is that people with the lack of basic communication skills being unable to inquire and learn more being turned off then that is a worthy trade off for me.

nah ight

I'd be willing to debate the existence of a unique idea but that's another topic for another day.
There are so few competent developers in rsps none of them have the time to work on your idea. If they were in it for money then they wouldn't make your idea, there's already quick & easy ways to make money in rsps.
And why would someone make your idea, everyone has their own ideas to create, plus lots of people claim they have a unique idea that'll be a huge success, it's cliché.
Idea's don't matter, execution does:
You can have the greatest idea in the world, but if it's made poorly and not advertised it'll flop. Meanwhile, if you have a crap idea and advertise it well, then you can be successful.
No idea is born perfect. Ideas improve over time, through criticism and improvements.
You don't decide what a good idea is. The market does. But you can't get feedback on your idea until you disclose what it is.
So currently your pitching to developers who have paid gigs, to bring your unknown idea to life, for no money, because you believe it'll be a good idea?

I believe you may have missed my point, which has nothing do with adept communication skills. Many of the capable developers on this platform are either already working on a project that they are personally invested in or have become irritated with people with similar thought patterns as yourself wanting to take advantage of them for a project that probably won't shake out anyway.
I have nothing against you or your idea, and I fully encourage you to continue your search for a development team and produce a great project. The truth of the matter, however, is that your idea is probably not as unique as you think it is, or even if it is, you don't get to decide how successful it is. Community response is the only metric to gauge how successful a project is or will be, and based on how you handled the criticism on this thread, I would wager to say that you might fall short there, as well.
Sharing information about the project upfront provides an idea of the likelihood of profit or even baseline desire for a developer. I can make upwards of $25-50 per hour freelancing for projects that share all of their information upfront, and I contact them (or they contact me, whatever) primarily because I know exactly what I would be jumping into. Regardless of how unique your idea is, once it is released, the idea will be stolen and replicated. That is the virtue of this field. From the ground up, everything we do is a replication of something that we have seen successful. See emulation servers modeling RuneScape, or in the case of private servers, see battle royale and apocalyptic survival themed servers (which are practically a dime a dozen now).
