We are currently seeking a developer for RuneForged. This individual must be mature, experienced and have adequate free time to work with us on our projects involving our game. If you think you are who we want, please fill out the form below and get in touch with us! (i decided to post under this section because i feel i may get better candidates for this)

    Code:
    First Name?

    Rune-Server Account Link?

    Experience?

    Vouches?

Why do you believe you are a fit for us?

Any additional information you want us to know?
Please be as honest, informative and detailed as possible! We will not be accepting any applications from posts here, please email “[email protected]” to be considered. We are not discriminating, anybody can apply and can be from any background, we just need YOU to be able to do the work we need.

This is a serious role in the development of our goal so please treat this as such. The decision of who we hire will be decided amongst the entire team so please keep that in mind. Position is currently unpaid but TBD for the future when the server starts receiving revenue. I appreciate your time reading and looking forward to whoever you are!

*this thread will be updated when we are no longer searching for someone*

As the above said no one in this day and age will really work for free unless a project is EXCEPTIONALLY promising.

Considering the position will be long-term, you can probably expect the developer to get a decent amount of % upon release. The server is pretty much guaranteed a great playerbase especially with the current developers so being able to not pay them shouldn't even be an issue.

Unpaid until revenue starts coming in.. hell most projects are kicked off like that, I see nothing wrong with it.
Whoever joins will be coming into a good team, I've worked with jordan before and he's a driven and professional individual.

Best of luck on your search, Jordan!

Would you make a site/do web design work for someone if they promised they'd pay after you done the work, they utilized it, and profited?... didn't think so.

Joining a team is different than doing a service. And I certainly would if the people part of the project are people I would deem trustworthy. As I said, many great servers have started out this same way.
And for the record, if I was a server developer rather than a designer, I most certainly would throw my hat in there to be on a team with Jordan, because he's not some random, and the projects he's been a part of are promising.
