I'd suggest looking for developers you can trust and know will do a decent job. The thing about unpaid positions is that you will, most of the time, get developers who are lazy, not experienced, and will write lazy code.

Hey,
We are currently looking for a server developer. I'm going to say right of the bat that this is an unpaid position, so if you are only in it for the money you don't need to continue on reading.
Still here? Good, here's some information about the project you will be working on:
We make use of a scripting system.
The project will be set up based on 317 or 474, we are yet to decide which one.
This will be a server focussed on the economy, with content to improve wilderness activity.
We are not looking to release soon and make a quick buck. This is a long term project where the main purpose is learning and having fun.
What do we expect from you?
You have past work you can show.
You have intermediate+ experience with Java.
You are a team player.
We do not expect you to develop for 12 hours a day, as this is an unpaid position, however, we do expect you to provide well written code on a (somewhat) regular base.
The project thread will be made once we have something worth showing off, as currently most of the work is put in back-end and writing systems to push content faster once we're ready.
Thank you for reading, and I've hoped to grab your interest. If there are any questions left feel free to post them and I'll gladly reply.
Please post your Skype or send me a private message if you would like to join the project!
Sincerely,
Jack
