    Story
I've been a owner of two servers now, one was succesful the other barly even went into beta before shutting down, but I relied on other people to develop for my server and I basically just ran the joint. I did contribute some with drops, NPC Spawning, other tedious tasks that are basically just editing files. I think the main fall of my servers was because I didn't know how to program and had to rely on others who would either quit because they wanted money or just were not very active which I can't really blame them. Anyways to get to the point, I'd like someone voluntary to mentor me.

    Objective
This doesn't mean you have to develop for me or whatever; I'd just like to learn and if I had any questions I could ask them to you. If I ran into bugs, problems or something I couldn't figure out I'd ask if you could help me and by that I mean give me a idea of whats wrong or point me in the right direction. I know Java Programming is very tough and takes a lot of work but I'm ready for the task. I plan on working with Java Programming a lot on my free time but I will be taking a class for Java Programming that will help.

    What's in this for you
Unfortunately there is going to be no money involved since I'm currently saving up to build my own computer, I'm using a out of date laptop with maxed RAM. You will get a great new friendship and if I ever released a server you'd get Developer Rank if you'd like to develop with me but not required and if you don't want that you'll get Membership Status. At the moment I can't think of anything else but I'm sure along the way we can talk about other stuff.

    Contact Information
The preferred destination of contact is Skype, its the easiest and the most popular. If you have another method please let me know. I'd like to refrain from using Dropbox because it seems to blue screen of death my computer every time I have it open.

If this interests you please let me know via Private Message or down below. If posting down below I will private message you for further information as I don't think everyone wants their information out in public.

    Thanks for your time.

Actually, there are some people that do actually want to learn, but some of them are lurking and some just get pushed away from trolls. I'm probably going to hated for this comment but it is what it is.

    Aside from that..

Great job man, I hope you do find someone. Also, if you don't find anyone I recommend CodeAcademy or TheNewBoston (I think that's how it is) I have done both of them for a bit, I've stopped but I'm hoping to do it again soon. I wish you the best of luck and good luck on your server! Also, if you have any questions you can PM me and I'll try to help you. I can also give you my Skype if needed. I'm not a professional or a good coder, but I can fix/add and do a few things. All for free. I just hope you can learn from it.

Remember, I didn't say I was good, but if you need something, I'm here.

    Good luck dude!

Bookmarked; Thank you, however I will give them a shot but I seem to be more of a visual learner like actually doing and watching someone. Internet articles and E-Books are just not my thing compared to actually reading a book.

    I must be old school.

Thenewboston.com Video java tutorials, they go step by step, make sure you practice a bit on your own after each one. If you do have a question, you can feel free to PM me.

You really learn a lot from watching them, but make sure you try and utilize them so you retain what you learn.

Nice to see people wanna learn, what I did was download a java book for an eBook reader or a tablet.
Either this or you can go buy a book. They will learn you a lot off stuff you need, conventions, all data types etc.
