    It is nearly nightfall. You and your comrades are gearing up. You frantically running around, grabbing equipment, reinforcing barricades, creating weapons. The sun sets. You look off into the distance and see a herd of zombies coming towards your encampment. Rangers take aim and start taking down the zombies. Warriors take their stand outside the gates. Workers are busy reinforcing, upgrading, and creating. You battle ferociously through the night only to notice half your team has survived. In this battle, each night gets worse.. so you know your end is near..

    Zombie Minigame

    Objective:
    The goal of this minigame is to survive as many 'nights' as you can with your team. The longer you survive, the more experience you get.

    Opportunities:
    This goal is sort of set on Runescape's Stealing Creation, except has a more realistic feel. Players will smith their own armor, fletch their own arrows, and reinforce their barricades with wood/bronze/iron etc. The higher your levels, the more you have a chance of surviving. This gives skillers a chance to earn fun experience too!

    Also, the game features combat. Players will need to do battle against zombies coming their way. However, there are a few twists to this game.

    Info:

    No Prayers - Don't want it too easy
    You must catch/cook your food - Will go into detail later
    'Nights' - The 'night' starts when the zombies come (screen will become darker) and end when they are all killed
    'Days' About 2 minutes to get ready for the next round ex: reinforcing, new armor, etc.
    'Degraded Armor' The armor you create will be 'degraded'. It will eventually wear out, which means more demand for armor more often. The stronger the alloy, the less it degrades.
    'Waves' The waves will be easy at first, with 9 zombies the first wave, 15 the next, 21, etc. (add 6 each time)

    The Zombies:

    There are a few differen't types of zombies you can run into during the night:

    Swift zombie - Fast attacks, fast speed. These zombies are a huge problem to defending your gates - They can get to them fast! Max hit is 1.

    Fighter zombie - Slow but pack a powerful punch. Will not get to the gate fast, but will destroy it quickly if it comes into contact. Max hit is 5.

    Ladder zombie - Can't attack, and slow. Why is this a problem? The ladder zombies carry ladders with them and put the ladders against the castle walls to climb them each zombie can climb these.

    Archer zombie - Far range killer. Decent damage on players, however can't do damage to barricades/gates. Max hit is 3.

    Damage - Since there are MANY zombies, and its a multi combat zone, but you are not able to use prayer, the max hits are not high. After all - they are dead, right?

    The layout:

    With peter's map editor, anything is possible.

    The layout of the castle is pretty basic. The weaker ores are found on the inside, so it is easier to start. However, as you need better armor, the ores are harder to get to. Most of the mithril, adamant, and runite rocks are on the outside of the castle - making it a deadly risk, not so deadly if during the day.

    Here is a layout i have created:



    Hopefully everything is pretty explanatory. The ores are just as i said. There should be more trees on the inside, but this drawings off scale. The little 'box' near the pond is a trapdoor, which has the furnace, anvils and cooking ranges. The boxes near the wall with ladders are the basic supply boxes (Hammers, Knives, Fishing rod, net, chisel, etc.) All sorts of fish will be able to be caught in the pond.

    The red crosshairs are the main 'points of contact' These are where the zombies can get into your encampment. The ones on the left and right are gates, and the front are where the ladders can be set up. Behind the castle is mountains, so there is no way for zombies to get back there.

    The four main boxes in the center are Equipment boxes. These are where the skillers can dump their extra food, armor, and weapons for other players to take. This way warriors and rangers can always battle the zombies without spending loads of time fishing, cooking, making armor or weapons.

    Other details:

    XP - The experience potential is really good with this minigame. It will be based on solely how you preform. If you live for 10 rounds, when a skiller only lives for 6, the 4 extra rounds you live add more experience.

    Dying - When one person dies, only they are kicked out of the game. They failed to survive. This may sound unfair to skillers, but skillers shouldn't even be attacked if the warriors are doing their job.

    Waiting room - I'm not so sure about the minimum amount of players, but i recon at least 2 of each position. (Warriors, Rangers, Skillers)

    Wait a second - what about magic? Well, i am still unsure about this. Maybe someone can do the runes like runescape where there are 'elemental runes' and 'everythingelse runes' (i don't know the names )
    -Magic would be very powerful in the game. If freezing for npcs is added, this will give skillers more time to create barriers. Also, with the multi square hitting barrage, this would be a HUGE advantage. So.. you decide: Make it easy? Or make it struggle to survive

    Interface - There will be a custom interfaces to this game:
    -Main screen interface - This will have gate health, zombies left, nights spent, how much time is left in the 'day', and how much equipment are in the boxes.

    Summary:

    This would take a long time to develope, but i think it would be an instant hit. I took the time to make this thread (about 2 and a half hours including making that layout pic xD) but it was worth it.

    Let me just make this clear that i don't want someone to create this for me. I want someone to create it for themselves to use!

    Wow a proper request for once. pretty epic idea why don't you try and do it yourself and just ask for help when you get stuck, could be a good learning experience

    it maybe a leech but its a VERY good idea i can think of my self running through the door with my bandos i veng my self i run up spec with my ags then barrage another bam bam bam get my rune c bow jump behind a wall pewepewwwpewwww
