We are proud to welcome you to our project thread. It’s been a long time coming.
Slumbridge is a custom server that truly is the first of its kind. Drawing inspiration from the incredibly popular (yet unreleased) GhettoScape, we seek to bridge the gap between OSRS and custom servers. The world is brand new and waiting to be explored, but we’ve made sure to keep the core mechanics similar enough for the game to still feel familiar.

We didn’t want to stray too far from Runescape’s concepts when it came to skilling. The combat triangle has remained intact and we’ve repurposed a fair few Runescape skills to simply add our own twist to them.
Attack (placeholder icon)
Trade in that scimmy, Jimmy, and relive your Little League glory days with a handsome new bat. Nails are optional.
Those enemy skulls aren’t going to crack themselves. Build up some brawn, then apply it directly to their brains.
Defence (placeholder icon)
Invest in a bulletproof vest to protect your chest while you commit various acts of theft.
Get some target practice in on unsuspecting civilians.
Magic meets Molotov in this fiery reimagination of the rune-fuelled skill.
Unchanged for now.
Rise through the ranks of the mafia in our take on Slayer.
Using axes to cut trees is so 2007. Time to grab a chainsaw and get felling!
Build up and maintain various housing structures to entice tenants.
You don’t need a ticket to Dubai to start loading up on oil - just set up your oil rig and start drilling!
Start by making street drugs and work your way up to Bioshock inspired injectables.
A bit like underwater hunter, but about as AFKable as standard fishing.
Why slave over a hot stove when you can pay some kid minimum wage to do the work for you?
Drive around the city in style in a stolen car. Add it to your collection or junk it for scrap materials to use in Invention.
crafting skill for the server.
Beat vending machines open like piņatas. Just make sure you’ve got an adequate crowbar, some machines are tougher to crack than others!
This skill is a work in progress, but is planned to be a combination of armed robbery, bank heists, and more traditional raids.
You’re going to be running from the police a lot. Get in shape by doing laps around the McDurial’s PlayPlace or get some cardio in on a treadmill.
Disclaimer: Please note that everything displayed in this section is not final and is subject to changes leading up to the release.
A small preview of the guns and animations that comprise the Marksman skill, which will of course replace traditional Ranged.
One of our arson sets. The skill is made to play like a pyromaniac version of magic. Instead of staves, arsonists will sport torches. Similar to how mining is the source of essence (which become runes), drilling will tie into resource production for arson.
A standard attempt at looting a machine causes some knockback to it and gives a single item as a reward. A successful one shatters the glass, allowing the player to take all the contents inside.
A failed attempt causes the machine to fall forward on the player, dealing damage like a failed pickpocket attempt.
Drilling works a lot like mining. You jackhammer a node, causing an eruption of oil, which you then collect in drums.
Alternatively you can set up a pumpjack to collect the oil for you. They'll occasionally breakdown, so you'll have to repair them every so often.
The various tiers of oil are differentiated by their highlight colors. Oil will be converted into gasoline, which will be used in the carjacking skill (driving will require gas).
Logging largely works the same as regular woodcutting. You use chainsaws to cut down trees, which you can then saw into planks. Both cutting trees and making planks will give exp.
Here’s an early look at our placeholder hotwiring interface which will be used as part of our Carjacking skill. Each attempt will have a randomly generated order that it needs to be solved in, in a limited amount of time. Higher tier car puzzles will feature more colors and less time.
In our carjacking skill, you'll be able to hotwire parked cars, or hijack NPCs driving around the city. Stolen cars can be added to your collection or scrapped for resources at the dump.
Our beginner level agility course is themed after McDonald’s PlayPlaces for some added nostalgia. Completing a lap will give a happy meal mystery box that rewards bonus experience and a chance at a piece of an exclusive set.
The management skill will feature automated NPC interaction. Customers will come in and place an order–if you’ve provided your employees with the proper materials to complete the order, they’ll do the rest, granting you some experience. There will be more to the skill, but this a large part of it.
The HQ of one of our mob bosses as part of our Syndicate skill. His mug suggests he might have a sense of humor, but I wouldn’t test it lol.
Here’s our current progress on shark hunting for the diving skill. In short: it's an AFK-friendly version of underwater hunter. Different sea creatures will have different methods of capture, there’ll be an oxygen system, etc. The above clip doesn't represent finalised gameplay, but it gives some idea of what to expect.
A few teaser pics of our Heist locations. We're planning on launching with a bank heist and Area 51 raid. We'll have more info on these in the coming weeks.
Gambling isn’t for everyone, but for people that are into that kind of thing, we have a pretty dope space-themed casino complete with some fancy, fully animated slot machines, and a massive group roulette wheel.
Wise Swole Man
There’s the Wise Swole Man impatiently waiting for his next challenger. He’s one of our world bosses.
Finally, our teaser video! We're super proud of this and think it fits the theme of the server perfectly!
We still have so much to show so make sure you stay around and join our discord to be the first to get the latest updates!
