    Firstly, that's a whopper of a compliment so tyvm for that!

    Regarding the idea of making our own game - it's something that's been asked a few times to be honest! There's a few reasons why we went this route and some of them are based on technical information and some of them are based on the personal preferences of the team. I won't list them all here but as a summary:

    - The team enjoy doing RSPS, have plenty of experience with it and know the scene well
    - Indie games can be difficult to get to market, and often even more difficult to gain any traction
    - Fundamentally, this server is still a runescape private server. The core mechanics etc will be extremely familiar to Runescape players and if we were to do our own game, this would need a drastic change. We don't want to do these changes - we'd much prefer to create a really fun RSPS

    It's definitely a good question all the same though & ty again for the nice comments

    Harry summed it up well. Ultimately it's still very much an RSPS, and runescape servers come with a sort of "built in" audience. Going true indie is far more risky. Appreciate the support. Attached image
