Hey there everyone!
2 things to start - I thought I’d get notifications or emails when people replied so I didn’t bother checking in! 2nd, there’s a lot to talk about. The project is still very much ongoing with more development visibility in Discord.

What’s happened, what’s next, and where we are going after that?*
Over the past year I’ve been on-and-off busy with work (deadlines…) and life, but this project has stayed near and dear to me. I’ve spent time contributing to 2009scape (refactored the 530 client) and other smaller communities occasionally. I’ve also been cleaning up and organizing caches received by the archive project.
In the past few weeks I reworked my core to implement behaviors according to osrs-docs (thanks Kris) so as long as I’m using delays appropriately and the right queue levels, things are pretty accurate to RS. I still have to work out combat scripts and clean up the zone manager code.
I’ve got a functional and playable webclient, and I’m just finishing up the music player for it now - sound effects play in the browser no problem currently. Java and the webclient are both supported play modes. The webclient is possible via TeaVM and I replaced anything Java-specific (AWT, Sockets). The webclient goes along with my recreated 2004 website pretty well.
Soon I’m going to have some of my discord members assist testing the current core + webclient out and reporting any bugs while I focus 100% on content. I’m going to take things area by area and add anything that still I need along the way. Quests will be implemented after skills and combat. There’s a lot to do, but we’re at the fun stuff now with the core in place and protocol completely handled.
The main post will be getting an overhaul after the webclient update. Talk to you guys soon
