cant rly call this a remake of the original SS when you are going to load multi data and add OSRS shit too. If you actually remade what SS was like from the get go you'd have a nuts server on your hands considering that people would just be inclined to pvp and enjoy that aspect rather than all this raids and osrs bullshit
edit: ikov did it and failed (theyre going to say otherwise) but despite having a lot of people you never had people in wild, and without making a spawn/pk server you need to know how to make a fast economy that just has pvp incentives (what ikov and zaros failed to do)
We're not remaking SoulSplit. This is built on the original, we're continuing it by improving previous content, enhancing the aesthetics of the gameclient, fixing bugs that has been left unfixed for years, adding the content we think it desperately needs to be able to compete in todays landscape (OSRS is a huge part of that) while still staying true to the original game. This is our vision of what SoulSplit would have been in 2021, had it never shut down.
We want wow-factors, incredible PvP being one of them. But so is multi data support, so is endgame OSRS content.

I normally don't post around negative stuff but I have some questions.
Who are the "creators of Soulsplit" that are on this project? It seems you avoided this question every time you were asked. The Developers on the Discord don't appear to be any "creator of Soulsplit" that I met during my time at Soulsplit.
How is this close to Soulsplit? It has an OSRS Cache, content, etc. Even if you took the old release from Pim (ZRPS) and threw an OSRS cache onto it that doesn't make it Soulsplit. There was a leak toward the end that a specific Developer and 2-3 people I know right now have a copy of, I doubt you have that.
I am not allowed to publicly share information about certain aspects of our business,
As I've stated previously, this is based on the original SoulSplit. And no, we didn't just "throw" an OSRS cache onto it, it has been under development by a few of the best developers in the scene (if you ask me) for quite a bit of time. Like stated above, this is what we believe SoulSplit would have been in 2021, had it not shut down.
i'll keep an eye on it but it unless it actually feels like soulsplit/soulplay then i doubt it will take off. that was a groundbreaking server and it's name carries a huge legacy and simply calling it soulsplit and not living up to it like the many before you will simply ruin it further and generate more controversy like you see on this thread. i think it would have been wise to pick a different name, the content looks like it could be good but the name alone is enough to turn people off because of all the poor "re"makes
I already asked this and the answer fell on deaf ears. I don't know much about this server so I really am asking out of ignorance, but is this guy one of the original devs? If not what's to stop me posting a thread 'Deltascape Returns' and then capitalising on the marketing...
