Velos was created in 2018 by a team who shares an immense passion for the Deadman game mode.

We have one goal in mind - Emulate OSRS Deadman mode as closely as possible.

Over the years we have taken some breaks and the team has changed however, our passion and goals are stronger than ever.

Earlier this month Velos saw it's first ever players login in the form of close friends and avid Deadman mode players. To our delight, we got through this stage with relative ease.

Well, you fucked up. You should have posted it in the Help section. Now that people have seen your thread, there won't be any hype when you actually launch. It will be more of an "Ah, I've already seen this, whatever" type of reaction.

Shouldn't require people to submit an app on disc before receiving access to the alpha client, as if you're advertising publicly, you should be allowing the client to be downloaded publicly. Just an extra unnecessary obstacle in the way for people that don't want to waste the time and otherwise would've joined and tested for bugs.

Is the gameplay like the same as OSRS DMM?
And how are you going to avoid people losing ineterest (e.g when dying, other people leaving etc.)?
Or is Velos going to be a seasonal server that resets every x-days?

Yes, our goal is to create an exact copy of OSRS deadman using mechanics mainly from the last season they hosted, albeit with very minor changes.

We have many ideas which will help keep activity to a maximum however, we will use a poll system as our community grows so we can be sure players would want them. Short seasons/tournaments (1-2 weeks) is definitely something we are looking to do.
