Little sneak peek of our custom duel arena map, to cater for both forms of gambling... Loads of stuff in the works, along with getting the server release ready. Should have a private Beta out this weekend to begin more in depth testing
Wishing you guys the best, but I really hope this isn't another Edge pvp tournament server with 0 unique attributes. We need content that hasn't been pushed out 100x previously.
Here is just a few suggestions I have for content:
- Collection Log Rewards (this creates end-game content, but the rewards must have a purpose) A great example of this would be having Wilderness bosses give 1 piece of special armour each for completing their collection log, once all collection logs are complete for Wilderness bosses you will have the full set which gives a special bonus once worn. The benefits of wearing the full set while PvPing could lead to more BM per kill, etc. A large prize can be given to the first few players to obtain this full set. This set of armour would be untradable, cost more to repair, etc.
- Edgeville PvP System - Blood money/PvP gear can be obtained if you kill players with 'X' weapon in an hourly rotation. "Kill players with a bgs as the final blow for a chance to obtain a unique PvP drop - Vesta, Statius, etc.."
- Allow player hosted tournaments, a player can set the reward amount and type of tournament. A fee will be needed to host these tournaments. (great BM sink)
- Less "donator tier ranks" and more perks, I personally am tired of seeing 10 different donator ranks ranging from $10 to $25,000... it's ridiculous IMO. I hope OSS has a unique donator perk list that benefit the players who choose to donate.
- Less shops that sell items for BM and more ways of obtaining these items from other means; PvP, Slayer, etc.
- Voting should be encouraged greatly. I would introduce a system where if a player votes each day they will be rewarded differently, voting streaks would be fantastic. Each time a player reaches a new streak they enter a separate/new prize pool.
^ I'm sure lots of unique PvP content can come from this, OSS needs content that hasn't been seen before IMO.

Looks good... hopefully more servers like this get released instead of the same recycled crap everyone releases these days.
I like the thought that went into the achievements interface
We've opened up the private Beta to a few users currently. The main focus is currently on bug fixes from what the testers are finding and finishing up the content that we want for the initial release.
Here's a picture of our mystery box interface, the reward table isn't finalised.
Bump - bug fixes and QoL updates are coming along nicely. There is only 1 piece of missing content left now, which is the custom settings interface that we want to complete that will be integrated into the new OSRS settings. After that its just fixing up anymore reported bugs and release tasks.
