What is OldschoolPK?
OldschoolPK is an OSRS pk server built for pkers. Keeping up with the latest OSRS content available,
we also plan to add some of our own unique features creating a thrilling environment and seamless gameplay.
OSPK will offer an economic element to it, providing things like bossing, trading, and gambling.
We plan to offer plenty of in-game events and giveaway huge prizes.

When can I play?
We plan to release our Alpha sometime during March 2021 and our Beta soon after.
OSPK will be completely finished this year.

We've been gearing up towards a closed alpha and are experimenting with how to make it easier on our testers, I've implemented the tournament supplies interface to make it easier to build gear presets and experiment with items.

who is ACTUALLY in the team?

it just looks like another reboot of ospvp/osscape/"oldschool" or w/e. like if this fails, another one just like it will pop up. probably from the same guys, under a very slightly different brand (hence the masking)

logo is clean (evil system?), and I'm a fan of the tournament map :)

EDIT: guess I should've read more carefully. just noticed your base is RSMod. still curious about the team tho

Not sure why you added media from actions that are clearly 'broken' (e.g gmaul spec & scim speccing) :p

I don't see whats broken about it but maybe post more information and we can fix it. The interface is jagex's work so you'll have to talk to them :aware:

The actual developers would be Mark, Michael (me) and Kobra. We updated the thread gfx to show our titles so it's more clear.

We're going to have bosses and things you'd find in a typical eco server as well, you won't be able to spawn high level items (gonna fix the wording on that :ninja:). You'll start with a bank full of typical pk items and be able to restock it.

Protection prayer goes off before the dragon scimitar hit appears and you don't see the gmaul spec animation seems to be off

Thanks for the report. We're going to be hosting closed alphas to help us collect bugs and fix them before release, in the meantime I've added these to be bug list.

Small update for you guys. Most of the things we're working on at the moment is not worth showing off but I figured I'd give you something.
- Finished core presets system (inventory, equipment, spellbook, skills). Works fully with item attributes. Interface is still being designed so it's using a temporary interface at the moment which will be used to alpha testing.
- Added an alpha testing bank preset that contains all equipment that will need to be tested. Automatically imported on login to the alpha server and also can be imported with a command.
- Finished the world configuration system which allows us to configure worlds down to the finest details. Supports subclassing from other configurations and defining which script extensions will be loaded/ignored on startup.

Lol, can't believe I missed that. All issues will be addressed once we start testing (closed testing will open this week). We've been doing some things behind the scenes so haven't been any updates lately, an announcement will be coming soon.

We're glad to announce that OldschoolPK is becoming partially open source. Anyone will be able to clone and contribute code or use it to test new ideas and learn about programming. Anyone who is interested can join us in the open-source channels.
