Thread: [414] framework

i have decided to jump back into the rsps scene after being gone for about 7-9 years. after browsing through the forums i began to miss 2006-2011 rune-server forum when information about programming was actively being pushed on these boards. i've chosen to take the time out to learn a new programming language for this project. the language i have picked is Nim which can be found ->[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. my goal with this project is just to slowly but surely develop a framework that handles networking features asynchronously, a custom scripting syntax for content development. Eventually this project will be playable and will hopefully be a well established private server for those who reminisce of the rs protocol of 2006. the specific client revision i have chosen for this project is #414 which includes updates up until June 14th, 2006 which was just a few days after the release of the warriors guild and the construction update. no skillcapes, no updated dragon or giant npc models, no crossbows. i do not plan on modifying the client at all so this will be a true 414 server project.
