There are thousands of lines of raw dialogue data available on the wiki, the challenge is pattern recognition and then programmatically turning it into meaningful code. The data isn't perfect - there is understandably some human error but in the end we've managed to generate useful code for about 90% of it.
Good luck, looks good
Following, looks really good mate.
A few technical notes for those interested:
I've re-imeplemented the Runescape login screen using Runelites annotation API, which has actually turned out to be pretty awesome. The end result is that we have a revision agnostic custom login experience, the value of revision agnostic being that if we update to a newer revision we can bring this code with us, no changes needed.
What makes it revision agnostic is that the login screen re-implementation is done with zero direct modifications to the Runescape gamepack: using Runelites API we hijack the login screen rendering at runtime and replace it with our own, giving us full control.
Here's some screenshots:
"Welcome to Everrain", and world selection is removed since we only have 1 world
New users are given instructions, unlike default Runescape client - and the new user button opens our registration page
We only allow login via email, and this is reflected with updated messaging and validation in the login view
We have bespoke error messaging for various login states
and of course external links such as "contact support" will go to our websites support portal too.
Busy doing infrastructure type things and getting the alpha ready for players, so not many new things to show right now
Here's a gif of the alpha new player intro:
