- #188: Everrain, an Oldschool Emulation

To everyone following our thread; this has been an expectedly crazy few months. We have still been delivering updates in our own time, these can be viewed via links on the 'Update Log' found on our main post. We are an emulation so yes, but we're using a recent build of OSRS opposed to some 317 from the download section. There'll be very few if any servers which will deliver the level of quality OSRS gameplay we will deliver, to us delivering OSRS 1:1 would be a victory and we can go from there. (y)

We aren't exactly yet if we will add anything else besides what OSRS has, but hope you will keep up-to-date on our project :)

I've added the new equipment categories now for full-helm, med-helm, mask, hat and vest. We've comprised a list of 300 or so items that need to be re-categorised and then tested. Pretty time consuming PITA but it has to be done. Once finished, every item in Runescape will render correctly, woo.

This month we've all been busy in bringing you updates; amongst our occupations that is. It has risen that there were certain areas which needed our attention, the wilderness, for example, was incomplete; I've been busy gathering data so you'll now find every wilderness NPC on OSRS there along with their correct combat interactions.
We worked on Crafting from May until now, as mentioned previously the Crafting Guild is now accessible; with it you'll be able to train Crafting in any way you desire (depending on your level). With new access points being implemented, you will now be able to enter/ exit and interact with double gates, our aim is to open the world up as much as possible. We are focusing on aesthetics as well as function, you will see this during your experience playing Everrain. Below you will find various media, enjoy!
