    I'm terrible at these threads, so here goes

    Arkhos is a mix between Pre-Eoc/OSRS leaning more toward Pre-Eoc.
    What We Aimed For: Is for players to be able to log in, and within 15 minutes be in the wilderness PKing. but yet, still have that 'Adrenalin rush' (that we all know and love) when Pking.
    But what happens when you're bored of PvP? or just no one is good enough to fight you?
    you could try your hand at some of our amazing Player Vs NPC.
    we are trying to put alot of detail into the small things in PvM to make it a much better experience compared to other servers.

    but maybe IF, combat just isn't your thing? Maybe you prefer to craft your way to the riches.
    so we've got 25 different trainable skills, some are easy, with some being more of a challenge.

    also would like to go ahead and give a shoutout to Jordan Belfort (for his Wilderness Warrior game mode idea), and 2t Bank for creating some custom map edits for me.

    anyways.. onward to media!

    a big project of ours is the wilderness warrior game mode, with only 2 minutes allowed outside of wilderness before you are force teleported back into the wilderness (unless in trade or duel).
    there are lots of skilling areas inside the wilderness, if you choose to skill inside certain areas of the wilderness, the rewards may be greater than others. For example in the Chaos Dwarf mine, you get 5 noted coal per rock, in the resource, you collect 5 flax per flax, collect logs and fish noted, and a few other perks.

    The wilderness has tons of life, between our Wilderness Slayer, and wilderness bosses, the wilderness should defiantly stay active.



    If the risky side of life in the wilderness isnt for you, we've re-wrote alot of the boss npcs such as



    KBD - Does all attack styles (dragonfire, poison, freeze, etc)
    KQ - Both forms, her protection prayers work, poisons.
    Dag Kings - Correct Style Weaknesses, Walking Paths fixed, little guys in water.
    Giant Mole - Digs and moves around his cave
    Barrelchest - Drains prayer, big hit turns off prayer, attack styles
    Corp Beast - Fixed attack styles, added his stomp attack if you run under corp, correct resistance if you are not using a spear.
    Godwars Dungeon - Bandos, Zammy, Sara, Armadyl all correct combat styles and special attacks, 20 kill count to enter the boss room.
    NeX - 20Kill count of every boss to enter her room, has all phases, and styles/special attacks.
    Lizard Shaman - Jumps in air, if you dont move you get smashed.
    Chaos Ele - Moves player, removes equipment, all attack styles.
    Callisto - Knock back effect, all attack styles
    Vet'ion - Mage deals massive damage if you do not avoid it, spawns skeleton hell hounds at half health.
    Scorpia - Spawns little scorpions to help once is below half health.
    Spider - Correct attack styles, freezes with web, and poisons.
    and a few more.

    There's also plenty of skills and Server Events to help keep you entertained.

    such as;
    Revenants & Wilderness Wyrm that travel the wilderness randomly.
    Crashed Star
    Evil Tree
    Duo Slayer
    Summoning
    Fight Pits
    Fight Caves
    Inferno
    Pest Control
    Warriors Guild


    with new Quest and mini-games on the way, and lots more content being updated daily.

    The rush is caused because you're risking something of value, putting millions on the line which equates to 10's of hours of game time gives you a rush. Spawning in and spending 10 minutes spawning the items won't ever give you the same rush.

    It's the same with things like Jad, Jad gives you a rush on rs because it takes an hour to get to it, if you start at wave 50+ you haven't invested any time to worry about loosing.

    Not too sure how I feel about the "Wilderness Warrior" mode, its a cool concept but I feel like randomly getting teleported into the wild after just 2 minutes could become tedious.
    Besides that, best of luck to you man.

    pretty much everything should be obtainable in the wilderness, sooo ideally players wouldn't ever have to leave the wilderness.
    It's defiantly still a work in progress, though. Thanks for your feedback!
