*Note: Please excuse the absence of fancy graphics; I currently don't have access to a good graphics artist but this will be updated and added in the future!
**Note: Criticism is accepted (hooray for freedom of speech!), but it'll be better accepted if it's constructive. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the thread.
Welcome to our project thread. Last Evolution started off as a blank PI source/client and is slowly growing into a stable, content packed server. Our main goal is to provide an enjoyable RSPS experience with the least bugs as possible. Our developer team consist of two friends that grew up playing RuneScape and now wish to try their hands at making a server that would be enjoyable for either new or longtime players.
Flawless 525/562 Maps/Objects (As well as some hand picked higher revision things)
667 Items/NPCs/Players
OpenGL (Work in Progress; All that's left is model rendering.)
The usual stuff: Depth Buffering, Fog/Particles, Model precision, Texture support for higher revision objects (up to 667), HD textures, Flawless combat, Grand Exchange, Squeal of Fortune.
Summoning (NPC vs NPC, NPC vs Player, etc.)
Construction (Work in Progress)
Tons of bosses
Working sounds/Music
Multi-threaded rendering
Custom bonds system (stay tuned )
All packed data is flawless (no visual bugs!)
And more!
Up to now, most of the stuff we’ve mentioned is standard in the RSPS community. This is because we’re working slowly and steady to make sure that everything we add is bug free and well made. As time passes we will add more quality content for our players to enjoy. Please note that this project was started from a clean base, so everything that was added was done from the ground up to make sure that it was done the correct way. As well as making sure everything we add is well made and bug free, we are also open to suggestions from the community and would encourage for you guys to give feedback!
MEDIA
Right now we don’t have a lot to show but please go ahead and check out some of our media and progress made! (Some images are older than others and because of this some are lacking depth buffering/model precision, etc.)
Edit: Please don't mind the gameframe, currently it's undergoing a lot of changes.. some of the images show a very EARLY version of the gameframe which has now been updated/fixed to look better (as seen in later images).. the rest will be fixed later. Thank you!
Spoiler for Recent Update(s):
Cleaned up client and packaged everything; client was just a mess of classes before:
A lot of other stuff was rewritten as well since switched player saving from .txt to .json
Spoiler for Media:
OpenGL progress:
Rest of images:
By the way, if anybody would like to see screenshots of specific things just let me know!
Thank you for reading our little thread! If you have any suggestions please don't be afraid to let us know and we'll see you when the next update happens

Reason: updated features
Thanks for all those who took their time to comment and wish this project luck. I look forward to this Project progress thread being updated every Monday.
Good luck. This should go under 503+ projects section though.
Hi!
As Acelenna said, this is a 317 revision client/source. Many recent 317 clients have been heavily modified with content to improve the game (graphics wise) and that's what you see here. Some ways that can help you tell are how in the screenshots, the game has everything (fog, HD textures, etc) enabled except for ground blending and that's because we don't have that yet as 317 clients don't come with it (needs to be implemented). Another way to notice is by our shadows as they're all static and most if not all 503+ clients have dynamic shadows and other lighting improvements (with HD enabled at least.. maybe with software mode as well but most definitely in OpenGL or DirectX mode).
Sorry for the mix up and thank you for your support, I hope to see you back soon!

Oh I see, my apologies I have removed my comment from earlier. Best of luck!
