Can't wait to see what becomes of this server!
Update 1/20/2019
The past month or so has been very busy as our team continues to work very hard on this project. I'll start off by highlighting the most important parts (though this does not cover all of the updates)
- Map rework + new areas created by Teewhy
Spoiler for Map Images:
- Model rework being done on old armours sets (infernal, dinh's, shadowscale)
Spoiler for New Armour:
- Added 3 new NPCs: Infernal dragon, skeletal strykewyrm, and a power raid boss
Spoiler for Bosses:
- New "Stanimator" tool being worked on by StanDev for custom animations
Spoiler for Stanimator:
- OpenGL support being worked on
- Armour stats have been created and almost finalized by Slayhew
- Prestige shop / system near final stages by Slayhew (conceptual)
- New forums theme / more web work being done by Mr. Robot
- StanDev has rewrote entire cache architecture
Thank you all for your continuous support. More information will be posted in the future as we continue to progress.
Here's a little more progress on the animation tool, I've added interpolation support so the application can calculate the average between two frames.
This is a key feature for speeding up the process of creating animations (it shows near the end of the video, I will post a better showcase later.)
I've ported gpu support from RuneLite.
However, the library they use (Jogamp) does not support my os (OSX, Hackintosh) which complicates testing.
I am considering switching to LWJGL or installing Linux and test the changes on there.
This has to wait though as I have midterms upcoming in the following two weeks.
Thank you for showing interest
Really nice work on the tool, we'll be designing something simular for Ascend so when we do design content it'll all be custom.
Best of luck fellas
Damn that animation tool is sick! Awesome work! a complete redesign on the game-frame would be dope too Might as well right
