Updates, updates & updates!
Today we bring you a couple of find updates from our development —drones— uh... development TEAM!
Firstly, our referral system! We’ve been hard at work on this one for some time. We wanted to come up with a solution that rewarded people for bringing their friends to Tekton, and rewarded their friends for playing, as well as making an incentive to play together! After all, what’s better than slaying some bosses with your best buddy?
As such, the Tektonite Referral Scheme was born! It’s quite complex, so let me walk you through it.
You can refer people through our website or through our game. The website method will provide you with a link you can share that, when registered with, will automatically assign you a referee. Great, easy stuff!
Referring ingame is pretty simple to! A new player simply speaks to the guide and gives him the unique referral code that their friend has given them. This code can be used everywhere, stick it in your signature, put it on your blog, share it on your Facebook, buy a billboard ad and whack it on there, rent out an island and make a smoke signal of it - the possibilities are endless! Talking of endless, our reward system!
The rewards are quite complex and we won’t be revealing too much as it’s still in development and we don’t want to ruin any surprises!
However, as a sneak peak there will be exclusive outfits to earn and obtain from referrals, as well as bonuses for playing with your friends that you’ve referred!
Another update we’ve got is the updating of our home. Our home is custom made and as such we’ve made sure every detail has been planned and taken care of. This update was just to remove a couple of unnecessary parts and keep it looking nice and organised. We’ve also combined two of the smaller buildings into one bigger building. A staff zone has been built at the top of one of the buildings at home. This is a place where Tekton staff members can meet and discuss how to improve Tekton and keep it running smoothly.
Couple of minor updates;
We now have a functioning health chest at home that will give a random amount of noted food once every hour of playtime for free! This means you can easily restock if you’re suddenly running low and need a boost.
Our home thieving area is also complete. Inside one of the buildings in our home, is a red door. This red door is not like other red doors, for this red door requires a thieving level of 70 to enter. Achieve this milestone however, and you’ll be able to access the stalls inside the room, and the treasures they contain....
Be quick though! The room will only be useable for 30 minutes every 6 hours. Gotta get those loot gains in whilst you can!
A new title management interface has also been designed and implemented ingame! We are still tweaking it and will post an update once it’s 100% done!

Bump been doing some tweaks and fixes recently! Also got a plan to overhaul the dialogue system so we can make Tekton feel that much more inclusive and interactive, with all npcs providing conversation and even hints as you progress your adventure!
