And you could argue that they are dead. But then 2006 and 2007 has been done ever since 2006 and 2007 existed. 2004 has, I'm 99% sure, never been done. And it's the charm of 2004 for anyone who appreciates it enough that will be the fundamental reason why Rune1 exists in the first place. You only have to look at RuneScape Classic to see that there are still people in the world that can appreciate something old for what it is and not for what it could be.
As soon as it has Slayer or God Wars or even Dragon scimitars, it is no longer a 2004 server. Which to me seems to be the whole point of mine and most other people's interest to the project and the whole reason this project has been posted.
There is always going to be people here and there questioning why it doesn't have Slayer or ancients etc. but you must ask yourself why you clicked a server that is titled "2004 remake" if that is not what you want to see. For anyone else who says the server won't last long without certain content from different years. That is not the point of the server. The admins have stated it is here for anyone to experience what it was like in 2004.
And I for one, appreciate it for what it is and not for what it isn't.
