After several long, exhausting, but inspiring years I finally have time to come back to the RSPS scene. Recently I was registered as an Optometrist (FINALLY) and now I have partial time to spend with myself, which I am going to dedicate to the development of Aura. I have never been quite too far away from the RS or even the RSPS community - I have always stayed in touch. So, I have now decided I am going to put my 10+ years of Java and RSPS experience in to use, and mainly for some fun! Rune-Server has always been a place for me to check up on and make sure the people I remember, when I first joined here, are still banging out the content! Anyway, enough about me, I hope you enjoy my journey of learning and let's get ahead with my project: Aura.

I am going to invest time into this server, stretched over a period which is unknown, as long as there's a finished product. Aura will eventually become open to the public, and it WILL be a player-ran community. A lot of people launch servers solely for the money, but I really want to concentrate on a structure that is fun for people to play, and listen to what the players want. Don't get me wrong, I understand donations help incredible amounts to keep the sever live and to build a strong foundation but I feel as though it's 80% of people's aim nowadays. I want Aura to be a challenging, but mainly fun, server where you grind a reasonable amount to get maxed. Another one of my priorities, other than content, is to maintain a stable economy - who wants a server where everyone has a 7b bank in a day?

Like I said, I haven't had 100% involvement in RSPS scene in the last few years, so any feedback would be appreciated.
Aura is going to be a project of further learning, not just with Java, but with maintenance and management for myself, so I am looking forward to facing personal challenges within this project.
Thank you,
